🌙 Greetings, my Fantastical Fairies and radiant Magical Starr-bursts… and a soft shimmering nod to those drifting in the dreamspell of Bruklan-itis, you are woven into this tapestry too.

I am Goddess Bruklan, stepping through the veils with starlight in my hands, here to awaken your inner fire, guide you deeper into your own enchantment, and help you craft a life so luminous it radiates beauty and brilliance far beyond you. ✨

There’s something quietly magical about letting yourself be seen. Not the polished, picture-perfect version, but the real one. The curious one. The one who asks strange questions, follows unlikely passions, and has outgrown many former skins. This list isn’t meant to impress; it’s meant to introduce. Think of it as an open door, a warm cup of tea, and a gentle invitation to know the human heartbeat behind the words you read here. So here I am... quirks, convictions, curiosities, and all... offered with honesty and a spark of wonder.

You might be wondering, "What makes this Divine Feminine Goddess tick?" Well, I've decided to share 33 quirky and not so quirky things about me. Whether you're new here or have been following along for a while, I hope this offers a delightful peek into my world. So, let’s dive in!

1. I Love Ancient Healing

There’s a deep reverence I hold for wisdom that predates modern noise. Ancient healing systems feel like whispers passed down through time. Gentle reminders that the body, mind, and spirit were never meant to be separate. I’m endlessly fascinated by herbal lore, energetic practices, and intuitive medicine that honors nature as the original teacher.

Why would I want to deal with the baby of the medicinal world when I could be using ancient healing methods that worked long before the baby came around? The baby is good for emergencies but beyond that, THIS body is organic and I believe in caring for it in an organic way.

I love designing healing centers that will include a huge variety of healing methods. I don't talk much about my plans since someone I know stole a set of my plans several years ago. Luckily, I had those plans memorized in my mind and when I recreated them I made some serious upgrades to the plan. Those old plans are so very much outdated now. My plans are now locked up to keep anymore theft from happening.

2. Plant Parent Extraordinaire

My plants aren’t simply décor... they’re companions. Each leaf feels like a small conversation, a mutual agreement to grow together. I celebrate new sprouts like milestones and quietly mourn fallen leaves like old friends. Tending plants keeps me grounded and reminds me that consistency is its own kind of love.

If you were to have taken a stroll through my home several years ago, you'd have found a mini jungle thriving all around. From a palm tree to a prayer plant, and beyond, I took pride in keeping my leafy friends alive and healthy. Sadly, one of my plants picked up a disease that ended up quickly wiping out all but two of my plants.

Once I relocate I plan on creating another home jungle both inside and out. Plants really do brighten up my space and the air quality is so much better with them!

3. I Love Love Love Battlebots

Yes, really. There’s something oddly poetic about brilliant minds building powerful machines and letting them clash in creative chaos. It’s engineering, strategy, and spectacle all wrapped into one metallic dance. Plus, who doesn’t love an underdog bot with heart?

It's true! The first time this sport was mentioned to me I honestly thought I would immediately dislike it. I finally gave up and watched it and now I crave it. I'd love to design my own bot and I do have a few ideas. We'll see what happens in the future. Right now I'm still hyper-focused on my mission so my bot will have to wait.

A few of my favorites are End Game, Rusty, Sawblaze, Hypershock, and Whiplash. I hope they bring Battlebots back to TV soon... we are waiting!

4. A Bookworm at Heart

Books feel like portals to me. They offer refuge, revelation, and reinvention. I don’t just read stories... I live inside them for a while, letting them rearrange my thoughts and expand my inner world.

I love both fiction and non-fiction, especially fantasy and self-empowerment. If you have a recommendation, I'm all ears!

When I was younger I didn't like reading because I was forced to read crap from the cult I was born into and pretty much everything else was off limits in that group. I couldn't stand reading based on that horrible limiting experience. I am so glad I was able to overcome and heal from that torture so that I can actually enjoy reading the things I truly love to read now... and I get to actually live my life and my mission which were also off limits in that cult.

5. Imaginative Traveler

Even when my body stays put, my mind roams freely. I travel through ideas, eras, and possibilities. Imagination is my passport, and curiosity decides the destination.

Exploring new cultures is something I'd love to do. In the future I will be taking a trip to both Ireland and Scotland. I have other places of interest but those are my favorites at this time.

The places I've been to so far are all within the United States. I've lived in Washington and Idaho. I've visited Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, and Montana.

6. Creating My Belief System

I believe personalized beliefs are the truest path. What resonates deeply within is far more powerful than what is inherited without question. I consciously choose beliefs that support growth, compassion, and sovereignty.

After my experience in a cult I am not interested in joining anyone else's belief system. Their beliefs are not meant for me. My own beliefs are meant for me.

I resonate with so-called mythological beings such as Aphrodite, Poseidon & Amphitrite, Ganesh, Shiva & Shakti, Bastet, Anubis, amongst others.

I believe that the only true belief system is the one we create for ourselves. Not anything we are manipulated into being involved in by other people who seek to have power and control over other humans.

7. Outgrowing Jealousy

Jealousy once knocked on my door; growth taught me not to answer.

To me jealousy is simply a waste of time. Time that I can spend focusing on my mission. Why be jealous of anyone who chooses to be energetically drained due to trying to keep up with the materialism around them? Why be jealous of people who have fragmented souls due to their oversharing of energy?

I used to be jealous of so many people around me. Now that I've been through my healing process I've been able to look at those same people with my eyes wide open and wonder why I was ever jealous of them in the first place. Choosing to be jealous of anyone for any reason doesn't make any sense to me now. I have better things to do with my time.

8. Just Say No to Brainwashing

I am deeply aware of cult mind-control programming and collective narcissism, which go hand in hand, and I actively choose freedom of thought. Discernment is sacred to me. I question narratives, honor intuition, and refuse to outsource my inner authority.

Yay!!! This is one of the best things about me. My mind is wired differently than most people and I thank the Universal Source of all every day for creating me to be as different as I am...

The Universe is never wrong.

9. Forced into Self-Healing

Life... and something far greater... made it clear I had to heal myself. It wasn’t optional. It was initiation by fire and grace, guided by the Universal Source of all. What felt like hardship became awakening.

Only 4% of the entire world population is forced into doing the self-healing work by the Universal Source of all. Everyone else can choose whether or not to do the work. I am in the 4%.

Contrary to what many people around me want to believe, the self-healing process is not easy and it is not all fun and games.

Self-healing takes many years of hard work but it is worth all the time it takes. The more self-healing a person does the less they react to external situations beyond their control and the more they can focus on what they can control.

This process takes the weight of the world off the shoulders of those who have been forced to carry it their entire lives due to the selfishness of other people around us who want to intentionally keep us down.

Self-healing is truly the most important thing a person can do.

10. Playing Nancy Drew

Those Nancy Drew games? Pure joy. Mystery, logic, exploration. They satisfy the part of me that loves solving puzzles while uncovering hidden truths.

Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon, Curse of Blackmoor Manor, Alibi in Ashes, Sea of Darkness, and Shadow at the Water's Edge are just a few of my favorites.

11. Quotes and Affirmations

I have a growing collection of quotes and affirmations that inspire me. Whenever I feel down, I pull them out to lift my spirits. They serve as little reminders of the positivity I've cultivated over time.

I also have several apps on my cell phone, tablet, and Kindle that provide me with affirmations throughout the day.

12. Obsessed with Puzzles

Puzzles calm my nervous system and ignite my focus. They remind me that every challenge has a solution... even if it takes patience to see it.

I can easily spend hours piecing together intricate designs or scenes, finding it deeply satisfying to see them come together.

When my grandpa was living at a care home I loved going over to see him and work on the puzzles they had at the time. I even donated several puzzles for other people there to enjoy.

13. I Am Results-Oriented

Dreams are beautiful, but embodiment matters. I value tangible progress and aligned outcomes. Vision paired with action is where magic becomes real.

I was once making excuses for everything under the sun simply because I was taught the lack mentality for most of my life. The way I was taught was a disservice to me and to everyone in the world who has been exposed to the lack mentality.

I am no longer interested in excuses. I am interested in results. Excuses do not help anyone ever.

14. I Am Currently an AI Lover

I see AI as a mirror, a tool, and a creative ally. When used consciously, it amplifies human imagination rather than replacing it and I find that fascinating.

AI is helping me play catch-up with my many projects. It is a must for me, especially since my mission was put on hold for many years due to the lack mentality I was born into.

15. Fully Focused on Mission

Distractions fall away when purpose calls. I know why I’m here, and I honor that knowing with devotion, discipline, and heart.

I've never been one of those super-focused people. My mind has always had a tendency to wander all over the place. My focus has intensified so much since starting this blog and will continue to do so, over time, as I add other platforms while creating my Empire.

I am so excited for what is to come!!!

16. Aiming for Minimalism

Less clutter, more clarity. I’ve been releasing excess for many years now. I keep only what truly adds value to my life... physically, mentally, and energetically.

It's all about living a simpler life with fewer distractions, allowing me to focus on what truly matters. I prefer to call it making space.

If you truly want the best of the best to enter your life you must create space for it to come in. I go through my external, internal, and online world regularly to get rid of and minimize what no longer serves me to make space for what is to come.

17. I’m an Animal Lover

Animals speak a language of presence and honesty. Their loyalty, sensitivity, and joy feel deeply familiar to me.

All fur babies hold a special place in my heart. Their unconditional love and joyful personalities make every day brighter.

I love my Chihuahua Chica. I also adore cats of all sizes. Big and small, I love them all!

18. A Classic Video Game Fan

Retro games carry nostalgia and simplicity that modern games sometimes forget. They remind me that fun doesn’t need to be complicated.

I love getting lost in fantastical worlds and going on epic quests.

A few of my favorites are Mario, Donkey Kong, and Dragon Warrior.

19. I’m a Tea Enthusiast

Tea is ritual. Comfort. Pause. Each cup is a small ceremony that invites stillness into the day.

While I enjoy coffee or a mocha once in a while, tea is where my heart truly lies. I love exploring different types, from herbal infusions to classic green teas.

Formulating my own medicinal teas, for personal use, is something I would love to start doing soon.

20. I'm a Helpful Person

I love helping but not at the cost of self-erasure. Boundaries are an act of self-respect, not selfishness.

I love helping people who are truly helping themselves. If a person is going to come up with every excuse known to this entire planet and beyond they are not truly ready to help themselves.

As a results-oriented person myself, the people I work with also need to be results-oriented or I am not going to be able to do anything for them. I cannot help those who are not ready and willing to help themselves.

21. I Am a Hermitess

I treasure solitude and choose intimacy carefully. I thrive in my own company, sharing space deeply with only one other soul.

While I love to explore, there’s nowhere I feel more at peace than at home. Cozy nights in with a warm, soft, fuzzy blanket and a good movie are my ideal way to recharge.

Even though I don't live by myself I consider myself to be a hermitess. I love my space and alone time whenever I can get some.

22. I Love to Write

Writing is how I breathe meaning into experience. It’s alchemy... turning thoughts into something that can touch another heart.

In addition to blogging, I dabble in other forms of writing such as novels and books to empower others.

Although my other works are not published at the time I'm writing this post, I take daily steps to get me there.

23. Building Plans

I adore blueprints, strategies, and long-term visions. Dreaming is only the first step; building is where it becomes real.

I love drawing up building plans for various projects that will help many people in the future.

Besides the healing centers, mentioned above, I also draw up other plans for projects I will be building.

24. Photography Enthusiast

Photography teaches me to notice. Light, shadow, timing... beauty often waits quietly for attention.

I do not have a camera glued to me at all times like many people because I honestly don't know how people can enjoy life fully when they are constantly living through a lens.

25. The Universe is My Boss

The Universe is the only boss of me!

That is exactly how it should be and will continue to be.

26. I Am No Longer a Carpet

This truth deserves repetition. I stand firmly in my worth and refuse to be walked on by anyone, including my former self.

When I was younger I was a follower and, because of the way I was brought up, I allowed people to walk all over me. I no longer allow that. If someone toxic comes around I shut them down immediately. If they cannot respect me then they do not deserve to be in my space...

PERIOD!!!

27. Advocate for Self-Care

Rest, nourishment, and joy are not luxuries. They are foundations. I practice what I advocate.

I believe in the importance of self-care. It’s vital to take time for oneself to recharge, whether that’s through self-healing routines or quiet reflection.

I even came up with a self-care contract for people to be able to personalize a self-care routine based on their own needs.

28. Avid Learner

Curiosity fuels me. Learning keeps my mind agile and my spirit young.

I’m constantly seeking to learn new things, whether through online courses, podcasts, or self-study.

Knowledge is endless, and I’m here for it!

29. I Am an Adventurous Cook

I experiment in the kitchen the way I do in life... with intuition, creativity, and a willingness to fail forward.

In fact, I prefer home-cooked, mostly plant-based meals over going out. I have more control over what I put in my body that way.

My cookbook collection includes the works of Suzanne Somers, Kimberly Snyder, and Anthony William.

30. Inspired By Paris

Although she is not my only inspiration, Paris Hilton is one of the people that inspires me most. She inspires the Empire I am creating in various ways. Obviously many of the things I am doing are completely different. A few are similar. She is an inspiring woman.

I love her song Stay Young. Apparently my soul is so ancient that age means nothing to me. Many people I know, several of which are younger than me, keep talking about how old they are getting... and here I am wondering what the heck they are talking about. They must be younger souls who tend to be more age focused. I don't see numbers as a barrier to anything. Feel young, Stay Young.

31. Journal Lover

Journals are sacred containers. They hold my evolution, my questions, and my quiet revelations.

Writing in a journal is one of my favorite things to do. This is one reason I encourage other people to try it out. I have several journals and binders. Each filled with different subjects.

I didn't start my daily journaling adventures until January 2020. I had a strong, intuitive feeling that 2020 was going to be a year of importance and so it was, but instead of letting it pull me down, the way it did for so many other people who did not understand what was truly going on at the time, I chose to listen to what the Universal Source of all told me about it and I chose to see the bigger picture of what was going on in the world.

A massive shift happened that year and is still happening more and more. Some people choose to focus on the worst of it, I choose to focus on the best of it and what the Universal Source of all says is truly important.

32. Gardening Newbie

I’m still learning, still experimenting and that’s part of the joy. Growth doesn’t require mastery.

Once I relocate I plan on going deeper into the creation of my Paradise which includes both indoor and outdoor gardens.

33. A Believer in the Fruitage of the Spirit

Not in a religious sense, but a lived one.

My grandma had a set of magnets with each of the fruitage qualities which she eventually gave to me. Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, and self-control.

I've done a fantastic job applying all of these over the years so I guess it was probably not too surprising to grandma when those magnets were the only thing I asked her for when she had to sell her house.
